Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Wyoming, has been named the state chapter winner of the Tri-M National Music Honor Society through the National Association for Music Education.

Award Details

The National Chapter of the Year Program is designed to motivate and reward chapters that perform service projects, encourage Chapter Officers to perform their duties properly, and increase awareness and interest in what other Tri-M chapters are doing.

Winners receive engraved permanent service plaques along with their awards. The Senior Division Chapter of the Year receives a $1,000 scholarship, while the Junior Division Chapter gets an $800 scholarship, both used to fund professional development activity, including clinicians, master classes, field trips, conference travel, or summer music program scholarships.
