KCK Committee Pauses Redevelopment Plan

A Unified Government committee has paused a redevelopment plan on a historic site in Kansas City, Kansas. The committee considered land bank options and property transfers, but paused the plan for the historic site.

Land Bank Options and Transfers

Redevelopment Coordinator Michael Sutton presented land bank options for residential and commercial projects, which received no opposition from neighborhood groups or advisory boards. The committee unanimously approved these options.

The committee also considered land bank property transfer requests, with one item removed from consideration. There was no public comment, and the committee unanimously approved the transfers.
