Karate Coyote Reunites

Karate Coyote, a local band, is reuniting for a show at the Columbus Arts Festival. The band will play songs from their debut album, Inner Animals, which was released in 2010.

Reunion Show

The band’s reunion show will take place at the Genoa Park stage at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 13. The show is part of the Columbus Arts Festival, which features a variety of local performers and artists.

In an interview, band members Nic Jados and Sam Corlett discussed their decision to reunite and perform at the festival. Jados said that the band had been approached by festival organizers in late 2025 and that they were excited to play together again.

Corlett said that revisiting the band’s old songs had been a fun and nostalgic experience. She noted that the lyrics of some of the songs reflected a time in her life when she was trying to figure out her future and make important decisions.

The band’s music is a mix of pop, rock, and jazz, and their songs often feature catchy melodies and energetic rhythms. Jados and Corlett said that they were looking forward to performing their songs for a live audience again and that they were excited to see how their music would be received.
