JPS Health Network, a major healthcare provider in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has been experiencing a network outage since at least August 3. The outage has affected various patient resources, including the MyChart online portal, phone lines, and other online services.
Patients who rely on MyChart to manage their appointments, medication refills, and other healthcare needs have been unable to access these services. Many have taken to social media to express their frustration and concern about the situation.
According to JPS, the decision to take down network systems was made after suspicious activity was detected in the technology environment. The hospital, clinics, and care locations remain open and are treating patients, but the outage has caused significant disruptions to non-emergency services.
JPS has apologized for the inconvenience and is working to restore services as soon as possible. In the meantime, patients can contact the JPS Call Center for assistance with appointments, medication refills, and other healthcare needs. The call center numbers are: JPS Main Hospital: 817-702-3431, JPS Community Health Centers: 817-702-1100, JPS Outpatient Behavioral Health: 817-702-3100, and JPS Outpatient Pharmacies: 817-702-3531.
In case of an emergency, patients are advised to call 911 or visit the emergency room.
