A new downtown Jonesboro art exhibition will invite visitors to reflect on America’s past, present and future through the work of regional artists.
Exhibition Details
“Mosaic: America, Ongoing” is produced and presented by SHOW NEA and the Bradbury Art Museum in collaboration with Occasions Magazine. The exhibition will open with a reception at 6 p.m. July 16 at The Parsonage.
After the reception, the event will continue as a downtown Artwalk at participating locations, including Occasions Magazine headquarters, The Rec Room and Something Art Café.
The exhibition is part of a broader conversation surrounding America’s 250th birthday and the country’s continuing effort to define its ideals and identity.
According to organizers, “Mosaic: America, Ongoing” brings together artists whose work reflects, questions, celebrates and complicates the American experience. The exhibition is intended to present America not as a fixed idea, but as an ongoing conversation shaped by many voices, perspectives and histories.
Some works may feel familiar to viewers, while others may challenge common narratives. Together, organizers said, the pieces are meant to form a broader portrait of a nation that is diverse, resilient and unfinished.
