Actor and musician Jared Leto has denied allegations of sexual assault made by four women in a BBC documentary. The women, who were teenagers at the time of the alleged incidents, accused Leto of sexual misconduct and assault between 2002 and 2016.

Leto, 54, stated that he has “never sexually assaulted anyone” and that the claims are “absolutely and categorically false.” The BBC documentary, “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” details the allegations, including one woman who said she was 17 when she was sexually assaulted and another who accused Leto of statutory rape at the age of 17.
The BBC says it corroborated the women’s accounts, but they could not be independently verified by other sources. Leto did not respond to the BBC’s attempts to seek comment for its documentary.
