This weekend in the Jacksonville area, several events are taking place. The First Coast Comic Con + IC3 will be held at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds Duval Hall on the Westside. This family-friendly event will feature over 100 independent comic book creators and artists, as well as a massive marketplace of vendors.
First Coast Comic Con + IC3
The event will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at 13601 Normandy Blvd. Tickets are $24.50 and can be purchased online.
Duval Day
On Saturday, the annual Duval Day fest will be held at Clanzel T. Brown Park (also known as Moncrief Park) in Moncrief. The community celebration will include music by local DJs, food vendors, games, and activities for all ages. The event is free and open to the public from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Sundays At Stetson’s
On Sunday, the Sundays At Stetson’s event will take place at Beluthahatchee Park in Fruit Cove. This monthly folk music series will feature a special tribute to Woody Guthrie, with live performances by the North Florida Folk Network. The event will be held from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and a $10 suggested donation is requested.
