The Spread the Love Commission and Teton County Library are partnering to collect and distribute summer clothing and supplies to vulnerable members of the community. The ‘Love Your Neighbor’ outreach event will be held on Thursday, July 23, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the library’s auditorium.
Donation Guidelines
Community members of all ages are invited to the event. Donations of clean, new or gently used items in complete sets that are seasonally appropriate are requested. Adult sizes are emphasized, with the exception of undergarments, socks, coats, and snow boots for children.
Accepted items include adult clothing such as hoodies, t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers, as well as health and hygiene products like hand sanitizer, shampoo, and toothpaste. Survival gear, including tents, sleeping bags, and backpacks, will also be accepted.
Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to make health and hygiene kits for distribution.
