Top-seeded teams like Norwalk are making a strong showing, with Norwalk defeating Lewis Central 6-0 in the quarterfinals. Olivia Welch and Addie Wood both scored hat tricks for Norwalk, which will face North Scott in the semifinals on Thursday.
Other top seeds, including Dallas Center-Grimes and North Polk, also advanced to the next round. Dallas Center-Grimes defeated Bishop Heelan 3-0, while North Polk hung on to defeat Waverly 2-1.
The tournament will wrap up on Saturday with the 3A, 2A, and 1A finals.
