IndyCar and iRacing Studios have announced details on the series’ first standalone video game in over twenty years. The game, titled ‘IndyCar Racing The Game,’ is being developed by iRacing Studios and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Game Features
The game will feature iconic tracks from the IndyCar schedule, including Indianapolis Motor Speedway, St. Petersburg, and Barber. It will also include hyperrealistic graphics, bringing the energy and drama of the sport to a new generation of gamers.
According to IndyCar chief marketing officer Alex Damron, ‘Our new video game is going to capture the energy and drama of our sport with hyperrealism, bringing our series to a new generation of gamers. Partnering with iRacing — the gold standard in racing simulation — ensures this will be a truly special new chapter in our gaming history.’
