A suspect is being sought by police after an incident of indecent exposure at a Dollar Tree store in Springfield Township, Delaware County. The alleged incident occurred on August 5 at approximately 3 p.m. at the store located in the 400 block of Baltimore Pike.
Investigation Details
According to Detective Randall Kennedy, the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Jhet Larose of Brookhaven, was seen walking around the store before the alleged incident. Kennedy stated that Larose was wearing a shirt with his workplace’s logo, which helped investigators identify him.
The incident is part of a broader trend of men allegedly performing lewd acts inside Dollar Tree stores. Falls Township police recently charged a man for a similar incident, and Prospect Park police are searching for a suspect who inappropriately grabbed a 12-year-old girl at a Dollar Tree store.
Customers have expressed concern over the incidents, with some calling for increased security measures in stores. Veronica Carrington of Darby Township stated that she does not blame the retailer but believes that stores may need to consider beefing up security.
