According to Josh Militello, president of Segment Mobile Cooling at Igloo’s parent company Dometic, the project will help lower carbon emissions, reduce energy costs, and build greater operational resilience. Over the next 25 years, the solar array is expected to reduce carbon dioxide by 97,500 metric tons, which is comparable to approximately 975,000 acres of forest absorbing carbon for a full year.
