A mass shooting occurred at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho, on Saturday, leaving three people dead and seven others wounded. The gunman, identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams, acted alone in the shooting before taking his own life, according to Police Chief Matthew Hicks.

Williams’ family is cooperating fully with the investigation, and detectives are confident that he acted alone. An off-duty state trooper and a civilian fired on the attacker, diverting him from the restaurant. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed, and police are still trying to identify next of kin.
Two of the wounded were treated at a hospital and released, while three others are listed as stable and two are in critical condition. An In-N-Out employee was among those killed, according to the fast-food chain’s owner, Lynsi Snyder.
The shooting occurred in a busy shopping plaza, with hundreds of people in the area at the time. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with one witness, Lane Koehn, seeing someone with an AR-style rifle emerge from the drive-thru and another man with a pistol firing at the shooter.
