A tragic accident occurred at Trinity Hot Springs in Featherville, Idaho, when a 12-year-old boy drowned on June 20. The boy was with his family at the public thermal pool when the incident happened.

Fundraiser Established

A GoFundMe account has been set up for Everett Newby, the 12-year-old who drowned, with a goal of $24,000 to help with medical and funeral expenses. Over 250 donations have poured in, raising over $16,000 since the fundraiser went live on June 24.

The boy’s family had traveled to the hot spring resort, which offers lodging, yoga, and wellness retreats, and swimming. The incident occurred around 6 P.M. on Saturday, and police are still investigating the matter.
