Western Pennsylvania’s beloved pop‑up marketplace, I Made It! Market, is gearing up for its 19th holiday season. Founder Carrie Nardini, a Canonsburg resident who describes the venture as “Pittsburgh’s original nomadic artisan marketplace,” says the upcoming series will feature over 200 individual artists and micro‑businesses across four venues in Allegheny County.
First stop: The Block Northway, North Hills – Nov. 7
The season opens at The Block Northway (8013 McKnight Road) on Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. The two‑floor space will host more than 110 local makers offering handmade goods, small‑batch foods, baked treats and selections from regional distilleries. Food and coffee trucks will be on site, and ample free parking will make the event easy to reach for shoppers from the surrounding suburbs.
Second stop: Galleria of Mt. Lebanon – Nov. 21
On Nov. 21 the market moves to the Galleria of Mt. Lebanon (1500 Washington Road). The single‑floor venue will feature an estimated 80 curated food vendors, bakers and craft distillers alongside artisan booths. Despite a recent social‑media rumor that the mall would close in November, Galleria management confirmed to KDKA‑TV that the mall remains open and will continue welcoming customers.
Third stop: South Side Works, Pittsburgh – Dec. 6
The South Side Works (424 S. 27th St.) will host “I Made It! Merry & Bright” on Dec. 6. Nardini described the event as a special boutique experience that places local artists directly inside host businesses throughout the Works complex. Full details on artist placements will be announced closer to the date.
Final stop: Robinson Town Center – Dec. 12
The season concludes with the “I Made It! Last Minute Market” at Robinson Town Center on Dec. 12, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held in the former IKEA warehouse adjacent to Guitar Center and will showcase over 100 local artists, a curated vintage village, live music, gourmet food and interactive programming. An early‑bird hour at 10 a.m. will give ticket holders first access to select goods before general admission opens.
Nardini also operates an I Made! Market Retail Shop at the nearby Mall at Robinson, providing year‑round support for local artisans and small businesses. She emphasized the market’s mission to give creators reliable opportunities, noting that rain‑related cancellations earlier this summer had made it tough for vendors.
Looking ahead, Nardini says the market will continue seeking new locations. “We’re always looking for new places,” she said. “We appreciate the shoppers we have had and hope to spread the word to attract new ones.”
