Hurstbourne Country Club is gearing up to host the ISCO Championship for the second consecutive year. The country club’s grounds crew is working tirelessly to ensure the course is in top condition for the PGA Tour tournament.

Preparations Underway

According to Walter Pritchett, director of golf course operations at Hurstbourne Country Club, maintaining a course capable of hosting a PGA Tour tournament is a year-round effort. The grounds crew puts in countless hours leading up to and during the tournament, with the help of volunteers from around the world.

Pritchett stated, ‘We’ve got guys coming from Mexico, Japan, and England to volunteer to help us with this tournament. We’ll have 50 to 60 people every morning knocking out every single job on the golf course by 7:00, which normally takes us 3 or 4 days to do every single job on the golf course.’

The ISCO Championship is scheduled to take place from July 9-12 at Hurstbourne Country Club.
