Hungary’s seasonally-adjusted Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) edged down to 51.4 in July from a revised 51.6 in June, the index publisher said on Monday.
The July figure fell short of a long-term monthly average of 52.6 but was higher than an average 48.9 July reading in the past three years, the Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management said.
Survey respondents in July reported a slower expansion of the manufacturing industry compared with the previous month,” the index publisher said in a statement.
