The City of Huber Heights has officially opened its new Public Works facility, marking a significant investment in the city’s infrastructure and operational efficiency. Located at 5001 Taylorsville Road, the 54,000-square-foot facility was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on May 15.
The facility aims to centralize Public Works operations, providing modern workspace, equipment storage, and maintenance capabilities. This development is expected to improve service delivery for Huber Heights residents, addressing essential services such as road maintenance, snow removal, and utilities.
The project, which represents a total investment of $20,664,926, was funded through a combination of Montgomery County TIF funds, Gas Tax funds, and Water, Sewer, and Storm funds. The facility was designed by Kueny Architects, LLC and constructed by Brumbaugh Construction.
Mayor Jeff Gore emphasized the importance of this investment, stating, “Our Public Works team plays a critical role in maintaining the infrastructure and services our residents rely on every day. This new facility gives them the tools and space they need to continue serving our community efficiently and effectively.”

Meanwhile, the proposed Eastbrook Farms development, also in Springboro, will undergo further review. The plan includes a mix of residential, office, and retail spaces, with the planning commission requesting more details on building specifics and amenities.
