Horry County Community Searches for Missing Woman

Cyrena Anderson, a member of Palmetto Pointe Church of God and a volunteer at animal shelters, has been missing for a month. Her disappearance has sparked a criminal investigation, with her husband, Danny L. Osborne, named as a person of interest.

Investigation Details

According to the Horry County Police Department, Anderson was last seen with her husband at their Forestbrook-area home. She did not show up for work on May 14, and when her sister could not reach her, she reported Anderson missing on May 19. Police have uncovered evidence that contradicts Osborne’s account of Anderson’s disappearance.

The investigation has extended beyond South Carolina, with Osborne having ties to Brunswick, Columbus, and New Hanover counties in North Carolina. Police believe he traveled through the Supply and Bolton communities along Highway 211 on May 15.

Community Response

Family and friends have pressed Anderson’s story across social media, and a prayer vigil was held in her honor at Palmetto Pointe Church of God. The community is urged to come forward with any information about Anderson’s whereabouts or movements.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Horry County Police Department tip line at 843-915-8477 (843-915-TIPS).
