Honda is recalling more than 325,000 vehicles because of a rearview camera issue that could increase the risk of a crash. According to a notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, water may enter rearview cameras on certain 2018-2020 Odyssey vehicles, which can cause the rearview camera image to fail to display when the vehicle is in reverse.
The recall notice says Honda dealers will replace the rearview cameras free of charge. Owners of the impacted Odyssey models will be contacted with notification letters expected to be mailed Aug. 24. Owners can also contact Honda’s customer service line at 1-888-234-2138. Honda’s number for this recall is HOX.
