The Daugherty family has opened a new Home2 Suites by Hilton in Texarkana, expanding extended-stay options in the area. The 64,000-square-foot hotel, located at 4603 Cowhorn Creek Road, features 107 extended-stay suites and was built by Crossbill Construction of Rockwall, Texas, with assistance from several local subcontractors and suppliers.
Hotel Features
The hotel offers studio and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens, separate living and sleeping areas, flexible workspace, and complimentary hot breakfast. Guests also have access to outdoor gathering spaces with fire pits and grills, a 24-hour market, fitness center, and laundry facility.
The Daugherty family also acquired the 121-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in December 2025 and plans to complete renovations by fall. The two hotels are the family’s seventh and eighth hospitality properties developed or managed in Texarkana over the past 25 years.
According to Mike Daugherty, the hotel’s modern look and clean feel are designed to make guests feel at home. The family believes in providing great service and giving back to the community, having partnered with several local organizations and created jobs in the area.
