Highway 26 between Prineville and Mitchell has reopened following a closure due to wildfires in the area. The Crook County Sheriff’s Office announced the re-opening and also stated that the Marks Creek Community along Highway 26 has been reduced to Level 2 – BE SET.
The department asked residents to please continue to stay alert and use caution in areas where fire crews are working.
