Air Quality Alert
An air quality alert has been issued for Pueblo County until 9 am on Monday due to the wildfire smoke. The alert may be extended through Tuesday morning if the Aspen Acres Fire continues to grow.
The winds are blowing from east to west, causing hazy conditions in the high county areas, including Salida and Saguache. Small showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible in Teller County from 4-6 pm, with most precipitation expected to clear up by 7 pm.
Tomorrow’s Forecast
Mountain thunderstorms are expected to develop after 12 pm, mainly affecting the southwestern areas. A severe storm is possible, which may bring moderate rain to the Ferris Fire area. The Gold Mountain Fire is expected to receive a small shower after 5 pm.
