A 16-year-old, Jayden Collins, has been charged as an adult with dangerous possession of a firearm, a Level 5 felony, for providing a gun to another kid involved in a shooting at the Our Lady of the Greenwood Summer Festival in Greenwood, Indiana.
The incident occurred on June 5, when an argument broke out between groups of kids, and one of them pulled out a gun and started firing shots. A teenage boy was taken to a hospital after being shot in the foot. No other injuries were reported.
The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office announced the charges against Collins and another 16-year-old, who faces multiple charges, including intimidation, criminal recklessness, and attempted armed robbery with a deadly weapon.
