Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport has launched a new charity initiative in partnership with the Salvation Army. The program, called Change for Good, donates the coins dropped in the airport’s indoor fountains to the Salvation Army. Additionally, QR code stations are available for users to scan and donate directly.
At the dedication ceremony, Kevin Howell, airport president and CEO, presented checks for $1,500 each to representatives from The Salvation Army of Greenville, Pickens, Oconee Counties and The Salvation Army of Spartanburg County. Howell expressed excitement about the initiative’s potential for growth in the future.
