The 11th annual Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Night returns to Fluor Field in downtown Greenville on August 4. Hosted by the Greenville Drive, the event is aimed at students from kindergarten to 12th grade, spotlighting technology and innovation in the Upstate and highlighting available careers and the skills needed to drive the industry.

Students can interact with virtual and augmented reality, robotics, 3D animation and printers, and more. The panel topic this year is people + robotics + AI and will be moderated by Alex Estevez, venture partner at Accel Partners. The Drive has partnered with Michelin North America, BMW Manufacturing, Fluor Corporation, Greenville Technical College, and Greenville County Schools to organize the event.
Representatives from the Boston Red Sox, the Drive’s Major League affiliate, will be present to showcase how technology helps with player development. Students who interact with all the booths will be admitted to the Young Inventors Club and eligible to win prizes donated by the various partners.
