A state grant aims to bring out-of-state residents to fill Brown County healthcare jobs. The $200,000 Talent Recruitment Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will be put into action by Heroes for Healthcare, Brown County, Emplify Health by Bellin, and Aurora Health Care.

Community Health Assessment

Following a community health assessment last year, Brown County officials identified three areas of focus to improve the community’s overall health: mental health and substance use, healthy and safe homes and pathways to healthcare.
