A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Northeast Christian Church to discuss the proposed 198-unit apartment complex in Glen Oaks.
Background
The same developer proposed a similar project two years ago, which drew heavy opposition from neighbors due to traffic concerns. The current proposal would require the area to be rezoned to R-7, allowing single-family semi-detached, two-family, and multi-family homes.
Glen Oaks Country Club stated on its website that this is the only development plan for the golf course area. The property is located across from one of the golf course holes, off Brownsboro Road.
