Residents of Spring, Texas, can look forward to a new dining experience with the opening of Galaxy Pizza, a vintage-inspired pizzeria designed to evoke nostalgia for classic American pizzerias. The establishment, located at 6450 Louetta Road, will officially open its doors on June 6, with a grand opening celebration featuring giveaways, prizes, and a Street Fighter 2 tournament starting at 11 a.m.
Unique Pizza Offerings
Galaxy Pizza will offer a distinctive menu that combines Detroit-style dough with Neo-Neapolitan techniques. Customers can choose from a variety of sizes, including 12-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch pizzas. Some of the creative topping combinations include the ‘Pepperonius Maximus’ with three kinds of pepperoni and extra cheese, the ‘Tom Selleck’ featuring bacon, ham, pepperoni strips, and pineapple, and the vegetarian ‘Veg-O-Max’ with mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, garlic, banana peppers, olives, and feta.
Meet the Founder
The pizzeria is the brainchild of Anthony Calleo, who has previously been involved with several other Houston-area restaurant concepts such as Pi Pizza and Gold Tooth Tony’s. Calleo’s vision for Galaxy Pizza is to create a space that feels both familiar and welcoming. His personal journey, including a late-in-life autism diagnosis, has inspired him to make Galaxy Pizza a positive environment that not only serves great food but also supports and advocates for others in the community.
