A fugitive was found hiding in a homemade outhouse in Albuquerque. The U.S. Marshals Task Force and Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office deputies were searching for Jesse Bilabao, a wanted subject, near 8010 Maplewood Rd.

Authorities say the property was packed with sheds, vehicles, wood piles, and various hiding spots. K-9 Hulk narrowed the search to a homemade porta-potty. The BCSO drone team then switched to thermal imaging and confirmed a heat signature coming from inside the porta-potty.

After commands and OC vapor were deployed, Bilbao surrendered and was taken into custody without further incident. Bilabao was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.
