Once again, Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation (PAR) is hosting its annual BOO! In The Park Halloween festival on October 31. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sokol Park North and is free for all residents.
Family‑Friendly Activities All Day
Festival‑goers can enjoy classic Halloween fun, including trick‑or‑treating stations scattered throughout the park, a variety of games, and large inflatables for kids of all ages. The ever‑popular “Touch a Truck” attraction will be on hand, giving children a chance to explore a real vehicle up close.
Costume lovers have two opportunities to parade their outfits: a first procession at 10:30 a.m. and a second at 12:30 p.m. After the parades, participants can enter the costume contest, where judges will award prizes for creativity, humor and overall presentation.
