The Santa Barbara Foresters secured a 3-2 road win against the Conejo Oaks, improving their record to 8-1 this year. Kurt Ippolito’s triple in the top of the 8th inning brought in Jake DeSapain, giving the Foresters the lead.

Sawyer Farr and Nick Salmon also contributed to the Foresters’ win with their RBI’s. Luke Cornelison pitched three innings in relief and earned the win, while Lucien Wechsberg notched his second save of the year after striking out the side in the bottom of the 9th.

The Foresters will host the Philippines Baseball Group on Wednesday, June 17th at 4:30 p.m. at Santa Barbara High School.
