The Santa Barbara Foresters were in control for most of the game, leading 3-0 after three innings and 8-3 through six innings. However, the Conejo Oaks battled back to score two runs in the seventh and four more in the ninth to take their first lead of the game at 9-8.
The Foresters avoided a total collapse as Carter Rutenbar doubled in Brady Janusek in the bottom of the ninth to settle for a tie. Nick Salmon homered for the Foresters, who are now 20-5-1 on the season.
