A tragic accident occurred in Grand Junction, Colorado, on Sunday morning, when a vehicle crashed off a cliff, resulting in the deaths of five people. The Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) responded to the 2000 block of Lookout Lane after 911 dispatchers received a report that a vehicle may have driven over the edge of a cliff.
Investigation Underway
Grand Junction police and fire crews arrived at the scene and found a crashed vehicle on the side of the hillside. Investigators believe the vehicle was traveling southbound on Lookout Lane when it veered off the roadway and down the steep incline. The identities of the five people have not been released. Police are investigating the crash, and speed is being considered as a possible factor.
