A large fight broke out in the 800 block of John Ave in Oshkosh, with reports of a gunshot. However, surveillance video confirmed that what was believed to be a gunshot was actually a firework being lit.
Officers from the Oshkosh Police Department, UW Oshkosh Police Department, and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. No one was injured, and no arrests have been made.
