Montgomery firefighters battled a fire in West Montgomery on Friday evening. The fire occurred in the 1600 block of Mobile Road around 6:46 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a vacant single-story building fully engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly brought under control, but no interior operations were conducted due to concerns about the building’s structural integrity.
No injuries were reported among civilians or fire personnel. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
