Miami International Airport became the focus of a federal investigation after an Amazon cargo jet overran the runway on Sunday, killing five people and injuring several others. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) dispatched a team led by Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy to determine whether the aircraft touched down too late, exceeded safe speed limits, or suffered mechanical issues.
