PUEBLO OF SANDIA — The FBI and the Sandia Police Department are asking the public for help identifying a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery at Sandia Resort and Casino.
Investigators say the suspect entered the casino’s high-limit room, displayed a firearm and threatened a cashier before demanding and receiving cash. After the incident he left the property heading west in a white Dodge Caravan.
The incident occurred at about 9:15 p.m. on July 1, 2022. Authorities are treating the matter as an armed robbery and continue to follow leads.
Officials describe the suspect as a man of average build, roughly 180–210 pounds. At the time he was wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, a black baseball cap, and a blue surgical mask over a blue gaiter.
The FBI has offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI’s Albuquerque Field Office at 505-889-1300 or submit tips online at tips.fbi.gov.
