A Delta spokesperson stated that the flight crew followed established procedures in coordination with Air Traffic Control and performed a go-around on approach into Boston-Logan, landing safely. The flight had 129 passengers and six crew members aboard.
During descent, onboard systems alerted the flight crew with an advisory regarding potential traffic, and the crew coordinated with air traffic control to carry out the go-around.
