Formula One drivers participated in a unique parade lap at the British Grand Prix, driving cars made of Lego bricks. The event, which took place on Sunday, featured 22 drivers, including Williams driver Carlos Sainz and McLaren’s world champion Lando Norris.
Lego Cars Bring Laughter to the Track
The Lego cars, each made of over 28,000 bricks, were capable of reaching speeds of up to 25 kph. Despite the slow pace, several cars were beached in the gravel at the first corner, causing amusement among the crowd. Mohammed Ben Sulayem, president of the governing FIA, also joined in on the fun, along with other notable drivers like Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
