Jacksonville – This Saturday, Downtown Jacksonville will host the fourth annual Endless Summer Showcase, a car‑enthusiast event that moves from the beachfront to the city’s riverfront. The showcase will take over a stretch of East Bay Street from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., turning the thoroughfare into a pedestrian‑only display area for exotic and classic automobiles.
Location and logistics
The event is centered at 330 E. Bay St., using the waterfront grassy area between East Bay and Water streets—known locally as “The Ford on Bay”—as well as the closed portion of the street itself. Organizers have arranged a stage, food and beverage vendors, and additional entertainment on the grass. Traffic will be rerouted for the day, so drivers are asked to plan alternate routes.
What to expect
Visitors can expect a wide variety of vehicles, from vintage classics to high‑performance race cars and drift machines. At noon, a special hyper‑car will be unveiled following the National Anthem, offering a highlight for auto fans. Estimated attendance is between 1,000 and 1,500 people.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for teens ages 12‑18. A VIP option at $150 includes access to the Decca Live rooftop bar across the street, with complimentary food and drinks. Vehicle owners may register their cars for $40 each or motorcycles for $30.
Local partners and charitable component
Decca Live and nearby Keane’s Irish Pub will serve food and beverages throughout the day. A portion of every registration and ticket sale will be donated to Boomerang Air Charter, an organization that works to combat human trafficking.
Organizer’s vision
Promoter Trae Staker explained the move from the former beachfront location at Latham Plaza to Downtown was driven by construction at the beach and the appeal of the riverfront setting. “When Ford on Bay became an option, we jumped on it because it’s a beautiful spot,” Staker said. “There’s also a great breeze that helps with the heat.” He added that the show has always been inclusive of all vehicle types, emphasizing the community spirit of the car culture.
Looking ahead
Staker Productions is already planning its next major event, the fifth annual Wings N’ Wheels, scheduled for February 27 at the St. Augustine Airport. That event will combine hundreds of cars and airplanes, an aerobatics display, and a military flyover.
The Endless Summer Showcase offers Jacksonville residents a family‑friendly outing that celebrates automotive heritage while supporting a charitable cause. With traffic closures, a diverse vehicle lineup, and local food vendors, the event promises a memorable Saturday for car lovers and the broader community.
