Eli Sabin, a candidate in the Aug. 11 Democratic primary for the 92nd State House District, is speaking out against outside money influencing the election. Sabin has no relationship with the outside group funding mailers supporting him and five other Democrats around the state.
Commitment to Public Service
Sabin’s commitment to public service is driven by his Jewish faith and the principle of Tikkun Olam, or “Repairing the world.” He has worn a necklace with this phrase since his first inauguration as a member of the Board of Alders.
Over the past eight years, Sabin has worked tirelessly in his community, attending community meetings, protests, and events. He has also worked on policy proposals for the Board of Alders, the Progressive Caucus, and Connecticut Voices for Children.
Running for State Representative
Sabin’s decision to run for state representative was motivated by his desire to serve his community and address the challenges facing it. He believes that the state can be better and that more can be done to provide great education, lower the cost of living, and protect vulnerable neighbors.
Sabin has been knocking on doors, holding meet-and-greets, and releasing detailed policy platforms. He is committed to listening to his neighbors and developing solutions to the issues facing the community.
