Evan George Vourazeris, a model with Down syndrome, has found a second home in front of the camera. At Bazaar Models in El Paso, Texas, Evan is turning his love of modeling into something bigger than a photo.
A Safe Environment
According to Evan, Bazaar Models provides a safe environment for him to express himself. “Modeling, if it’s being in the entertainment industry, and that’s the best thing about Bazaar. It’s a safe environment, a safe place,” he said.
Juan Granados, an instructor at Bazaar Models, praised Evan’s talent and work ethic. “Talented. He has so much credibility in the industry as well. So it gives us more credibility as well. Like just having him here. It elevates the brand. And he’s always very attentive and willing to learn,” Granados said.
A Piece of Himself
Evan’s goal is to share a piece of himself with the Borderland through his modeling. With El Paso behind him and the future ahead, Evan is just getting started. “Ohana means family, and no one is left behind,” he said.
