El Paso County Schools Receive Accountability Ratings

El Paso County schools have received their state accountability ratings from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The majority of schools in the county received a ‘B’ rating, with Valle Verde Early College High School achieving the highest rating of 98 out of 100.

Accountability Ratings Breakdown

According to the TEA, 85% of campuses statewide received an acceptable academic performance rating of C or above. In El Paso County, Ysleta Independent School District had the most A-rated campuses, with a total of 22. Socorro Independent School District followed with 18 A-rated campuses.

Parents and educators can use the TEA’s website to check the rating of a specific school. The ratings are based on an A-F scale and provide information on school and district performance.
