Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley’s Pennsylvania home was burglarized early Saturday morning, police said. Tredyffrin Township officers responded to Barkley’s home in the Malvern area at about 5:10 a.m. after receiving a report of a burglary in progress.
The suspects fled before officers arrived. Barkley and his family were not hurt, according to police. Authorities did not say whether Barkley or his relatives were inside the home during the break-in.
Investigation Ongoing
Police have not announced any arrests. They also have not said what the burglars took, how they entered the home, or how many people were involved. Detectives are investigating a large white SUV that may have been connected to the burglary. Police released an image of the vehicle and asked the public for help identifying it.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department said it had not received reports of similar activity elsewhere in the area. The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
The burglary comes amid heightened concern about thieves targeting professional athletes. Federal prosecutors charged seven Chilean nationals in February 2025 with burglaries at the homes of NFL and NBA players.
