A brush fire burning in the hills of Eagle Rock, California, destroyed at least one home on Thursday. The multi-story home, located on Palmer Drive near Colorado Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue off the 2 Freeway, was fully engulfed by 2:40 p.m.
Responding firefighters quickly put out the raging flames to prevent the blaze from spreading to other structures nearby. The LA Fire Department said crews coordinated simultaneous structure defense and brush fire suppression as LA Park Rangers assisted with water tenders.
