DoorDash Driver Accused of Vandalism in NW Ohio

A local woman in Rossford, Ohio, reported that a DoorDash delivery driver damaged two of her vehicles, an incident that was captured on home surveillance video. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the damage was discovered later in the evening after the driver had completed a food delivery to her home.

Investigation Underway

According to the woman, the surveillance footage shows the DoorDash driver arriving at her home, completing the delivery, and then allegedly keying both of the family’s vehicles. The customer said the footage appeared to show the driver causing the damage before leaving the property. The incident was reported to Rossford police, who confirmed they are actively investigating the complaint.

DoorDash also stated that it is reviewing the situation internally. A spokesperson for the company said that the platform is investigating the incident and that the driver has been blocked from delivering to the customer’s residence. At this time, no criminal charges have been filed.

The customer later learned of a similar report from a woman in Perrysburg Township who claimed a comparable incident occurred. After comparing accounts, the two cases were reportedly linked to the same delivery driver. Authorities have not confirmed whether the incidents are connected as the investigation continues.
