The website, hosted at WOW.DHS.gov, serves as a searchable public ledger of individuals who have been arrested for various crimes, including homicide, arson, rape, child molestation, armed robbery, kidnapping, assault, and terroristic threats. The updated database includes recent arrests made in several states, including California, Georgia, Illinois, Florida, and Arizona.
According to DHS, the records featured on the site involve convictions and charges that include violent crimes and documented affiliations with street gangs. The public repository allows visitors to filter entries by geographic location, specific criminal history, and law enforcement jurisdiction.
