Def Leppard and Goo Goo Dolls to play Paycom Center June 3, 2027

Oklahoma City residents and fans of classic rock will have a reason to mark their calendars for the summer of 2027. Def Leppard, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, and the Goo Goo Dolls are scheduled to perform at the Paycom Center on June 3, 2027 as part of their joint North American tour.

The concert will feature special guests The Struts, a British rock outfit that has opened for legends such as The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe. Ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 16, through Ticketmaster, with a presale window opening on October 12 for eligible fans.

Supporting a worthy cause

In keeping with the community‑focused spirit of the event, the promoters have pledged to donate $1 from every ticket sold to City of Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cancer research and treatment. The contribution will help advance therapies for those battling serious illnesses and underscores the partnership between entertainment and charitable giving.

Why the concert matters locally

Paycom Center has become a premier venue for major touring acts, and this concert adds to the city’s growing reputation as a hub for live music. The event is expected to draw fans from across the metro area and neighboring communities, providing a boost to local hospitality businesses, including hotels, restaurants and transportation services.

Def Leppard recently completed a three‑night sold‑out residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, demonstrating the band’s enduring popularity. The Goo Goo Dolls continue to enjoy a resurgence, with their 1998 hit “Iris” surpassing six billion streams and the group earning four Grammy nominations over the course of their career.

Ticket information and safety

Tickets will be available in a range of price tiers to accommodate families, seniors and young adults. Attendees are encouraged to review the Paycom Center’s health and safety guidelines, which include standard security screenings and optional mask recommendations in line with current public‑health guidance.

For fans who cannot attend in person, the concert will be streamed on select platforms later in the year, ensuring that the music reaches a broader audience while still supporting the charitable component of the event.

Looking ahead

The 2027 tour will also stop in several other major cities across the United States, but Oklahoma City’s stop is poised to be a highlight thanks to the combined draw of two iconic bands and the added benefit of supporting City of Hope. Residents are encouraged to purchase tickets early, as demand is expected to be strong.

For more details on ticket pricing, presale eligibility and the charitable donation program, visit the official Ticketmaster page or the Paycom Center’s website.
