Nearby residents expressed concern and sadness over the discovery, with one resident, Jack Loncosky, saying, ‘It’s terrible. I don’t know why they would abandon it like that.’ Another resident, Thomas Coleman, added that this is not the first time a dog has been left in the area.
Residents are calling for increased patrols and the installation of cameras in the area. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Hamilton Township police.
